Who We Are: Meet Donny Hopkins

This month, we are thrilled to feature Donny Hopkins, a beloved figure at Bolthouse Fresh Foods and our Vice President of Internal Farming. With a career spanning decades, Donny has become a cornerstone of our company, overseeing three Farming Regions and the Plant Water Distribution Farm to ensure our carrots are cultivated to perfection.

Donny’s journey began early, inspired by his grandfather, Earl Hopkins. Starting in 1968, he worked on various crops and joined Bolthouse Fresh Foods in 1975. He vividly recalls the excitement of seeing his first carrot emergence, a moment that cemented his passion for farming.

Teaching the art of carrot production brings Donny immense joy. His dedication to mentoring the next generation has left a lasting legacy within the industry. Outside of work, he treasures time with his wife, Lanette, and their family. He also enjoys off-roading and trail riding.

At Bolthouse Fresh Foods, employee health, safety, and growth are paramount. Working with the leadership team, Donny values enhancing his skills and driving company growth. His ability to build sustainable relationships with employees and customers has been a key focus throughout his career.
